As you all know, I don’t usually take pics of “little birds.” However, every now and then one catches my attention and this little fellow definitely did.

His blue plumage definitely stood out among the earth tones of the Colorado plains. I spotted him as I was driving a back road in Logan County and quickly hit the brakes and backed up to grab a few pics.

He was kind enough to perch right on the sunflowers whose yellow helped make for an even more color pic.
