Another trip out to the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge and this one initially looked to be a bust as the bison were too far off to get any good closeups.  Looking at it differently though and by changing my angle, I was able to capture the snow-capped mountains behind and eliminate virtually any sign of civilization.  I don’t normally apply effects to my photos but thought it worked well on this one and allows the viewer to imagine a very similar scene 200 years ago before the white man took over the land.
