Taken last week, this gorgeous bald eagle gave me a nice little show. I spotted her from a distance and was able to track her through her approach right up to when she flew overhead. Managed to snap off a 100 or so pics of her in the process. 😉
Thus far, the bald eagle season here on the Colorado plains is off to a slow start. Certainly I am seeing some, but not nearly in the numbers that I would normally expect to see by now. I suspect our mild, dry weather may be playing a part and the seasonal visitors are staying farther north so far. That will likely change though as we get further into the winter. Well, I sure hope it does!
