Well, I don’t know that I could have taken a more fitting image today than this one. This beautiful eagle gave me a fantastic flyby. While it flew right overhead and I got some very close captures, I like this one offset with the Rocky Mountains in the background best.
I had the honor of wearing this nation’s uniform in the Navy and it was a duty that I am proud of. During that time I served with many amazing men and women, all of whom exemplified the very best of this country. To them, and to all others who served, happy Veterans Day, shipmates.
