Some more pics of this little cutie that I encountered on New Year’s Day. It had done some exploring, swimming under the ice that covered this creek. When it emerged, it gave a nice shake, sending water flying. So much fun to see! I have checked this spot many times since then but have yet to see it again. Someday I hope to have a repeat encounter.
