In fact, this little one has already seen some snow in recent weeks and much more is to come. Jumping back to the end of June before that weather arrived for this capture. My friend and I spent a good bit of time hanging out in a talus field photographing these little ones. Normally they are on the move but sometimes you get one that is willing to pose. This one sat in near perfect light giving me a very pleasant capture.
