“And just what are you doing down there?”

This young one was initially sitting in a tree with five other eagles. Naturally all of them but this one departed as soon as we started to approach.

While the others fled, this cutie seemed to view us as more of a curiosity, clearly not threatened by us and gazing down seeming perplexed as to why we were so interested in it.  We spent a good while watching and photographing it, expecting that it would soon take flight but it never did and we left it in the same spot as it soaked in the warming sun.
