For whatever reason, we don’t usually see hummingbirds at our place for the first half of summer. But, come late July, we then start seeing some action. Such is the case right now.
I had caught video of them on my birdcams lately so Sunday after my photo drive, I headed to the backyard with my camera and spent some time with them. There were at least two around and they were quite tolerant of me being there, giving me some crazy cool captures. The deep shadows behind them really made them pop.
