One for Throwback Thursday going to May 27, 2017. This badger family provided me tons of pictures over five or six encounters spanning about two weeks.
Mama had made her den surprisingly close to the road making for a prime photo opportunity of her and her cubs. Here, two of the young ones hang out above while mom was down below tidying up the family home, slinging dirt out of the hole every now and then.
I am certainly hoping to find another den to watch this year as these guys, while ferocious, are incredibly fun to watch.
