Returning from my photo excursion yesterday, I realized I wasn’t done taking pictures just yet. This cute little ‘nope rope’ was warming itself on the timber retaining wall around our porch flower planter. Stretched out, it was probably about 3 feet long so a good-sized one for its species.
I see these every now and then in our yard and am happy to have them there but usually by the time I get my camera, they are gone. This one was quite cooperative, allowing me to stick my camera right up to it. Eventually it did get bored with me and went back into hiding among our miniature roses.
