Jumping back to February for this capture. This gorgeous eagle was hanging out along a suburban greenway trail, keeping watch on the folks walking below. In the busy tree cover, no one even noticed him – except me. It gave me some fun poses and after a while, decided it was time to depart. With the dense trees, it had to launch horizontally, giving this awesome view as it pushed off into the air.
