A simple capture but one I really like. The female at my favorite nest was keeping watch over the family home and decided to make some noise. She looked absolutely beautiful up there and set against those clear, blue Colorado skies she really popped out in the scene.
By my math, from when she first started incubating, her little ones should be hatching any day now. Unfortunately, the weather this weekend isn’t going to be conducive to a visit but I will definitely be looking for an opportunity to do so soon.
