Given today’s holiday, it only seems fitting to share an image of our national emblem. Indomitable, resilient, and honorable all are fitting adjectives to describe both this creature and our veterans.
There is a quote from an unknown source that says, “A veteran is someone who, at one point in their life wrote a blank check made payable to “The United States of America,” for an amount up to and including their life.” Please take time to honor these brave men and women today for their service and sacrifice.
Let us also not forget the spouses, children and other family members that take care of things on the homefront. They have one of the hardest jobs in the military and are worthy of our praise as well!
