“Oh deer!” my daughter exclaimed while in Arapaho National Forest last week. Sure enough, this sweet looking mule deer fawn and its mom were walking through some dense foliage to the side of the road.
I had to work hard to find an angle with a somewhat clear view of the little one and when I did, it was kind enough to turn and look at me for a brief moment.
