Not a bird that I photograph often, even if they are extraordinarily prevalent and kind of pretty. Here in Colorado, their numbers have become quite overwhelming in the winter and they do make huge messes of the parks. As a result, I usually just ignore them. Yesterday though, this one and its mate visited a pond I was at and gave me some fun shots, including this one was it dried itself off after a bath.
