A fun find this past weekend and a fresh one for #MooseMonday. Ascending into the rarified air above 9,000 feet, I was watching closely, hoping to spot one of these cool creatures. Indeed, I found two, this being the more photogenic of them. He alternated between eating and looking around, checking out my friend and I as we photographed him. His antlers weren’t particularly big, but he was impressive as heck, bulked up and ready to endure the harsh months to come.
