Yikes! I almost was worried I was this young bald eagle’s next meal! Taken yesterday on what was less than a stellar outing, this 3 to 4 year old was the sole photo worthy subject I could find. My friend and I spotted it as it was finishing up its fish breakfast. After being incessantly cackled at by crows that did not appreciate its presence, it decided to take flight, thankfully right at me. I love pretty much everything about this shot. The focused eyes and the leap forward just make for a dramatic capture.
