It’s been a while since I posted a pic of my favorite type of hawk. This gorgeous example was hanging out northeast of Denver back in January. While the image is cropped for effect, it is clear that it let me get quite close to it. I haven’t too many of these here lately as many of them go north for the summer where it is cooler.
