First visit with mountain goats in two years

The highest paved auto road in North America was shut down last year for repairs preventing me from visiting these high-country denizens. With the road now repaired and snow cleared, the road with its 14,130 foot max altitude is now open again.

Given the amount of snow up there, I wasn’t hopeful that the goats had worked their way back up yet. On the way up, I was fortunate enough to encounter two young ones, looking handsome in their winter coats and as always, providing a fun photo op.
