It had been more than a year since I last saw this endangered species but yesterday put an end to the drought.
As is often the case with them, it didn’t last long and the little guy / gal seemed to be on the hunt for a meal, checking all the prairie dog burrows. Unfortunately it was a long, long ways away so the pics aren’t very good but any time I get to see one it is exciting.
