Yes, snow. Clearly this isn’t a recent picture. 😉 Rather it is one I took back at the end of April.
The weather was less than ideal – snow, wind and temperatures in the mid-30s. Despite the conditions, this little Pie-billed Grebe was out for a swim in a drainage in Adams County, Colorado. I appreciated how hardy it was but I was pleased it allowed me to capture this image from the warmth of my truck.
