Going back to last July and what was an amazing, charmed encounter with this fox in Gunnison National Forest. This beautiful one was working its way through the area near our campsite, entirely comfortable with our presence. It certainly was on the hunt, keeping close watch on the squirrels that were nearby but while it kept watch on them, we watched it. I was able to spend a good bit of time photographing it including getting some cool closeups like this one. Have a great weekend, everyone!
