An adult bald eagle steals away a juvenile’s meal. This young bald eagle no doubt thought it hit paydirt when it snagged this fully intact fish away from the gulls. It, however, quickly learned that no matter how great you think you are, there is always someone greater. In this case, an adult bald eagle that swooped in and chased the young one off, taking the meal for itself. The younger eagle tried to hold onto it but in its panic to escape those incoming talons, couldn’t do it.
