Were it not for a safe distance between myself and this bald eagle, I might have been backing up to get out of its way given that look it seemed to be giving me. ? Taken earlier this month, the eagle arrived on scene at this frozen lake and after circling a couple times, decided it was time to land on the ice. As it did, it came right at me, nice and low, allowing for a cool viewpoint of it and its aggressive look.
