You could count on one hand the number of encounters I have had with skunks. Yesterday was one of those rare ones. I spotted this monochrome critter yesterday morning as it worked its way through some tall grass, seeming to be hunting.
It never did give me a clear shot, always having grass obscuring its face one way or another. Nevertheless, it was fun to see one again given the rarity of the chance.
