Okay, this fox kit was actually yawning as it emerged from the den but… Following a much-appreciated tip, I was able to spend last weekend with this fantastic fox family giving me some fresh pics for #FoxFriday. The parents had four kits, each simply adorable of course.
The den is in a surprisingly public place but that isn’t surprising for foxes. When raising their young, they will oftentimes seek out homes near people as it helps keep them and their young safe from coyotes, their bitter enemy. I’ll share another image or two of them later today as well.
