A Bald Eagle keeps close watch on the guy with the camera for Freedom Friday. This is the female from the nest I have been watching in recent months. On Sunday she was quite content to sit in this shady spot and did so for more than four hours! Her offspring was hanging out in the nearby nest tree.
The workload of the parents has decreased quite a bit now that the young one has fledged but it still isn’t hunting entirely on its own so they do sometimes bring it its meals.
