A fun shot from a couple of weeks ago and the time I spent with this queen and her kittens. Yup, “queen.” Did you know that is what a female bobcat is called? I didn’t until I went to write this and was doing some research. Up until a couple of weeks ago, I didn’t have any reason to know it as I hadn’t gotten any quality pics of these elusive creatures.
Anyway, the two kittens were extremely rambunctious on this morning which was so much fun to watch. A thick bank of clouds created some pretty poor light photography-wise but given this was only the fourth time I was able to photograph bobcats, I wasn’t complaining (much).
