If you saw the new Planet of the Apes movie, you know this magnificent creature is well represented and plays a prominent part in the movie. While they were computer generated, the golden eagles in the show were fantastic and for the most part, accurately portrayed and realistic looking. This image harkens back to March on my most recent encounter with one of these birds. After giving some great poses, it decided to take flight and really looked impressive.
