Harkening back to the end of last August for Moose Monday.
I had headed up to our campsite for the weekend ahead of the rest of the family. While I waited for them to arrive, I went for a walk in the cool, evening air at 10,500 feet. It didn’t take long for that walk to turn into a prime photo opportunity. Three bull moose were grazing happily on the willows, filling up before bedding down for the night.
While the sun had already dropped beneath the towering adjacent peaks, there was still enough light for some nice captures. This one shows a bull lifting his head and seeming to smile for his portrait in between bites.
