Last week I posted a picture of this handsome guy showcasing his teeth. Here, as he keeps close watch on the neighborhood, his big eyes are the focus.

This Red Fox has taken up residence in a suburban area north of Denver, Colorado and has proven to be quite tolerant of people as was evidenced by the lounging he did while a friend and I sat photographing him.

While they aren’t seen often, Red Foxes are quite common across the entire Northern Hemisphere from near the equator to the Arctic Circle. As shown here, they are extremely adaptable and able to coexist in areas with large human populations.
