I don’t know for a fact but given the look on this osprey’s face, I suspect it was not happy to have its failure caught on camera. 😉
This is the same rock carrying bird I shared picture of last week. As I mentioned at the time, the guy was just not a good fisherman. In addition to the rock issue, he had a dozen failed fishing attempts, this being taken right after one of them. I do like the capture with the water falling off the raptor and, of course, those insane yellow eyes.
