The further we get into winter, the easier it is to find bald eagles. Indeed, sometimes you find them when you don’t even expect to. Such was the case a couple weekends ago as I returned home from my photo excursion and spotted some curious dark spots in some trees at a local open space. My friend and I went to investigate and sure enough, three bald eagles were hanging out. The youngest one (about 2 years old) almost immediately took flight, chasing off the oldest (4 years old) of the group. The two then began a fantastic aerial display, flying around together, sometimes seemingly in sync with their movements. They circled a few times, allowing us to enjoy their playtime, then headed off to parts unknown. Have a fantastic weekend!
