This one was a bit of a surprise. I was sitting on a bunch of rocks, taking pictures of the pika as they worked on gathering food for the coming winter. Little did I know that I was sitting right on top of one’s home! It didn’t seem to mind though, bounding right up by me with its bounty and under the rocks to its home.
