Clearly there would be no surprising this gorgeous raptor. As has been the norm most weekends this month, it was a cold, dreary day with some light snow falling. I spotted the falcon perched in a tree and, thankfully, it allowed me to get some great captures of it. This gives you a nice look at its beautiful plumage, those piercing dark eyes and, of course, those deadly talons.
