Oh my goodness! The fox kits were running all over the place, occasionally running right over this stump. I told my friend, “I want one of them to come sit right on that stump,” knowing full well wildlife doesn’t exactly listen to the photographer and rarely does what I want.
Amazingly enough, one little guy / gal decided it was time for a break, walked up, and sat right down on the stump! It was a fleeting moment and, being greedy, I certainly would have preferred it looked right at me when it did it but even so it makes for a cute shot and works well for Fox Friday.
