As I mentioned yesterday, I didn’t get to explore the Moab area as much as I had hoped during my visit last week. However, while out four-wheeling one afternoon, I did spot this beautiful red-tailed hawk as it landed on a rocky outcropping alongside a cliff. It posed perfectly, keeping watch on the desert floor below for a possible meal. It made for a cool capture showcasing how wildlife finds a way to survive in even the most rugged of environments.
