Not many pictures to be had by me this past weekend. I worked Saturday and yesterday’s outing just didn’t have the success I had hoped for to make up for it. So, as I was wrapping up, I had to take the opportunity to photograph this red tail as it perched on a utility pole. True to form like most red tailed hawks, it was not keen to have its picture taken but I did manage this decent shot after launch. It does a nice job showcasing its respectable four foot wingspan and that tail that gives the raptor its name.
