A fun encounter up near Meeker, Colorado this past week. While camping in the area, we were in our side-by-side and I spot two of these cool, lanky birds. Quickly I came to a stop and pulled out my camera to grab a few captures. Unfortunately they were not interested in posing but I managed a couple okay shots.
My apologies for being incommunicado lately. I failed to prep daily postings for my time out of town like I normally do and upon return, find myself having to deal with some emergency family issues. My postings might be a bit sporadic for a little while but I promise, I will get back into the swing of things soon.
