Holy moly! I have heard about these mythical creatures and how they can be spotted on the alpine tundra in the summer months but in all my years I never dreamt that I would see one. This one was clearly one of the big bosses, sporting an impressive rack that broke through the surface of the tundra in an amazing display of dominance over the lesser wapiti land sharks. I don’t expect I will ever see them again, but I count myself lucky to have been one of the few to see one and, best of all, capture a picture of the rare beast. 😀
