One handsome fellow here, eh? He certainly was worthy of this portrait taken on the Great Plains of Colorado after our first real snowstorm of the season. The buck was casually following some nearby does, not pressuring them, but I am sure they were well-aware of his presence. He crested this small hill making for a cool capture in the fresh snow. The yellow, changing leaves behind provide some nice color and interest.
