Wanting to do something ‘different’ with the extra time off for the holidays I headed to the Colorado high country on Saturday. The goal was moose and I did indeed find some.
First up was a moose cow and her calf that were close enough to get some nice pics of in the dim, early morning light. Not long after, my friend and I spotted five more – two cows and three bulls. Unfortunately, they were all quite a ways away but we were able to see the two smallest bulls spar a bit.
