My goodness. Yesterday was kind of a yucky day here on the Colorado Front Range with rain from start to finish – something we don’t have happen often (thankfully!). Despite the conditions, I ventured out and got few worthy captures as even the critters seemed to be just staying put and waiting out the rain.
As I was heading home, I happened across a half dozen of these bright-headed birds playing in an area with some standing water. They definitely added some color to what was a gray, dreary day.
