In a veritable sea of tall grass, this young buck was pretty easy to pick out despite its best effort to camouflage itself. This guy was hanging out east of Denver International Airport recently with another, larger buck and a few does.

White-tailed Deer are North America’s smallest deer. They are very fleet-footed capable of speeds up to 30mph and able to leap as high as 10 feet and as far as 30 feet in a single bound.
