Well, hello there, little one! My first look at one of the owlets at my local great horned owl nest. It only stuck its head up briefly then quickly retreated out of sight. While I did not see it, other folks have reported seeing two owlets in there so there are at least that many this year. I look forward to seeing all of them more in the coming weeks.
