Another sign of the changing seasons when these somewhat goofy looking but beautiful birds return to the Colorado plains. Yesterday there were more than a couple dozen hanging out at a local pond, taking advantage of some good fishing. Demonstrating the grace of this very large species, this one came in to join the group, making a sharp turn showcasing its massive wingspan.
