Seals on ice

Taken during our boat excursion into Kenai Fjords National Park last month. While the Northwest Glacier that we were viewing was cool, I was more drawn to the cute creatures at its base. The harbor seals were simultaneously enjoying a relatively warm day in the sun while staying cool chilling out on pieces of ice from the glacier. They were certainly aware of our presence but unbothered, occasionally opening their eyes to check us out as we floated by.
