One of two very handsome fellows I had the privilege of photographing this past weekend. With the rut coming up, the pair were following a herd of does. They gave me some cool captures as they kept an eye on the ladies.
For this one, I ran ahead (didn’t fall, unlike with the moose a couple weeks ago – haha), anticipating them popping up on top of a hill. Sure enough, they did, and this guy paused just long enough, giving an amazing pose.
