I shared a preview of this spot on Sunday and here are some additional images.

Lake Como is in northern Italy, on the edge of the Alps, and is a nice, quiet haven away from the more touristy spots to the south. Arguably, it is most famous for the “beautiful people” that visit and have homes here like George Clooney. While George’s house was right down the road from where we stayed, I am sorry to report to the ladies that we did not see him. ?

The stop was just what we needed after several days of tours and crowds. Our apartment was on a hill in Musso overlooking the lake with a balcony that we were constantly drawn to and enjoyed evening cocktails and morning breakfasts on. On one day we did take the ferry over to the Bellagio area, the more popular tourist area and the namesake of the hotel in Las Vegas.
