A wildcat on the Colorado plains?

So I am driving through the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge today and off in the distance I see something small-ish coming down the road. I stare and think – it’s a cat! Could it be a bobcat? I have never gotten a picture of a big cat and am thinking I have got to be the luckiest man alive.

After a few seconds my brain starts processing the reality. A) It would be very unlikely to find one in this area. B) That cat is too small. Sometimes reality sucks as sure enough, it was just some house cat that had made its way into the refuge. Sigh.
